What a year it’s been for Origin Bank!

Let’s take a look back at some of our proudest moments of 2018.

Our biggest news of 2018 was our initial public offering in May. Origin’s debut on the Nasdaq Stock Market exchange was a milestone in the bank’s 106-year history and marked the start of a truly new era. As a public company, we are excited to provide even more stability for our customers while ensuring their access to the best service and products available. It’s also an affirmation that our culture, core values and personalized customer service go together quite well with modern, high-tech banking.

Origin’s style of business also shines through in our “Return on Relationships” campaign that debuted this year. A combination of short videos, personalized testimonials and social media elements, the campaign tells the stories of real customers ‒ families, entrepreneurs and business owners ‒ and their Origin bankers. The result is an inside look at the way sincere relationships benefit both sides.

In August, Origin opened a new location in Frisco, Texas, a bustling suburb of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and one of the country’s fastest growing cities. The office is located in Hall Park, a new state-of-the-art commercial complex. Origin is thrilled to be a part of this thriving community and emerging business corridor.

And earlier in 2018, Origin Bank launched a promotional partnership with professional golfer Sam Burns. A Louisiana native and part of the Web.com Tour, Burns turned pro in 2017 after capping a stellar collegiate career by winning the NCAA Division I Jack Nicklaus Player of the Year award. As an Origin Bank ambassador who’s been featured in the “Return on Relationships” campaign, he serves as a vital link between the bank and our generation of younger bankers and customers.

We’re thankful for all of our customers and business partners who’ve helped make it a truly remarkable year. But as great as 2018 has been, we can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2019. May it bring joy and prosperity for all who are part of our Origin family.
