Origin Bank Awarding Dallas Area Schools through Bank on Their Future Program

DALLAS – Origin Bank is awarding four Dallas area schools with a total of $12,000 as part of its Bank on Their Future community initiative.

In keeping with its core purpose to enrich the lives of the people in its community, Origin launched the Bank on Their Future program on September 16, 2019, as a contest for participating schools surrounding the bank’s new Sylvan 30 Banking Center at 1808 Sylvan Avenue. The 14 participating schools were encouraged to submit votes on Origin’s program website, www.BankOnTheirFuture.com, with the three schools having the greatest number of votes at the close of the contest on October 28, 2019, receiving cash awards. Origin representatives will be on hand to present the cash awards to the first, second and third place schools at scheduled assemblies.

Greiner Middle School finished the contest in first place with 19,984 votes and will be presented an award of $5,000 by Origin Bank representatives at an assembly at the school on November 18 at 9:00 am.

Moises E. Molina High School finished the contest in second place with 18,760 votes and will receive an award of $3,000 from Origin representatives at a school assembly on November 19 at 8:30 am.

There was a tie for third place between Mary McLeod Bethune Elementary and St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic School, and Origin Bank will award both schools $2,000 each.

Mary McLeod Bethune Elementary will receive their award at a school assembly on November 19 at 1:30 pm.

St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic School will receive their award at a school assembly on November 21 at 8:00 am.
