Origin Bank Hires Rick Alcalá as Mortgage Market Leader in Dallas

Origin Bank today announced that it has hired Rick Alcalá as a Mortgage Market Leader in the Dallas area.

“I’m excited to welcome Rick to our North Texas team,” said Origin’s Chief Retail Mortgage Officer Nick Marascia. “Our clients will benefit greatly from his home lending experience and his dedication to helping others succeed makes him a great fit for Origin’s award-winning culture.”

Alcalá has over 23 years of banking and real estate experience, specializing in mortgage lending for business executives, medical professionals, and first-time homebuyers. In his new role, he will serve clients with their mortgage lending and daily banking needs, assisting both English and Spanish speaking customers.

He earned his Master of Business Administration from University of Phoenix - Dallas campus and his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from University of North Texas. He resides in Frisco with his wife and five children. He enjoys regular exercise, coaching his children’s sports teams and is actively involved in his church.
