Origin Bank Names Chris Hamilton Senior VP of Commercial Lending
FORT WORTH, TX – Origin Bank has announced that Chris Hamilton has joined the bank as a senior vice president of commercial lending with the Fort Worth banking team.
Hamilton has over a decade of banking experience in middle market corporate lending with extensive knowledge in asset-based lending, auto dealer finance, real estate, and mergers and acquisitions. In his position at Origin Bank his primary focus will be developing business relationships in Tarrant County, targeting middle market companies with an emphasis on commercial and industrial lending.

Hamilton served in the U.S. Army from 1993-2004, achieving the rank of staff sergeant and deploying to Korea, Kuwait, Bosnia and Iraq during his service. He has a Bachelor of Science with a minor in accounting from Armstrong Atlantic State University and studied international trade and economics at the University Sydansk in Denmark.
Active in community endeavors benefitting children, Hamilton is a member of the North Texas chapter of the After-School All- Stars program and of the Communities in Schools program. He has been married to his wife, Ellie, for four years and they have two children with another due in December. He will maintain an office at Origin Bank’s Fort Worth Financial Center on Throckmorton in downtown Fort Worth.
