Origin Bank Names Gerardo Garza, Rob Hydeman and Chris Hamilton Senior Vice Presidents of Commercial Lending

DALLAS – Origin Bank has announced that Gerardo Garza, Rob Hydeman and Chris Hamilton have joined the bank as senior vice presidents of commercial lending with the DFW banking team.

Gerardo Garza has over nineteen years of experience in domestic and international banking, spending the last fifteen years in the Dallas market. His specialties include corporate and middle market lending, international trade finance, commercial real estate, domestic and global treasury management and liquidity management solutions. In his position at Origin Bank his primary focus will be business development of all bank products, including corporate and middle market lending, as well as working to develop the bank’s international finance initiative.  Garza has an accounting degree from the Tecnologico de Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the cooperative programs of McGill University in Canada, the University of Texas at Austin, and the Tecnologico de Monterrey.  He is a member of Gleneagles Country Club in Plano and is on the board of directors for the “Association de Empresarios Mexicanos” Dallas Chapter. He has been married for eighteen years to wife Jessica and they have two daughters.

Rob Hydeman has thirty years of experience in a wide range of banking disciplines including middle market commercial lending, sponsor finance, mergers and acquisitions, and structured corporate finance. Through the course of his career, Hydeman has built relationships with numerous business owners and operators and has worked with hundreds of private equity, family office, hedge fund, independent, and other institutional and high net worth sponsors and investors with a focus on financing and building operating businesses in the middle market commercial and industrial space.  In his position at Origin Bank his primary focus will be to build and maintain banking relationships and to provide lending and related banking services to middle market clients. Hydeman has a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from Southern Methodist University. He has been married for twenty-two years to wife Rhonda and they have two children.

Chris Hamilton has over a decade of banking experience in middle market corporate lending with extensive knowledge in asset-based lending, auto dealer finance, real estate, and mergers and acquisitions. In his position at Origin Bank his primary focus will be to develop business relationships in Fort Worth, targeting middle market companies with an emphasis on commercial and industrial lending. Hamilton served in the U.S. Army from 1993-2004, achieving the rank of staff sergeant and deploying to Korea, Kuwait, Bosnia and Iraq during his service. He has a Bachelor of Science with a minor in accounting from Armstrong Atlantic State University and studied international trade and economics at the University Sydansk in Denmark. Active in community endeavors benefitting children, Hamilton is a member of the North Texas chapter of the After-School All- Stars program and of the Communities in Schools program.  He has been married to his wife, Ellie, for four years and they have two children with another due in December.

Garza and Hydeman will both maintain offices at Origin Bank’s Dallas Financial Center on Oaklawn Avenue. Hamilton will maintain an office at the bank’s Fort Worth Financial Center on Throckmorton in downtown Fort Worth.
