Origin Bank Promotes Billy Haddad to Ouachita Parish Market Leader
MONROE, LA – Origin Bank has announced that Billy Haddad has been promoted to Ouachita Parish market leader. Haddad has 19 years in the banking industry and began working for Origin Bank in May 2008. He specializes in business development, community partnerships and investor relations. In his new role with the bank, he will oversee the business and commercial teams in the Ouachita Parish market, focusing on expanding existing client relationships and developing new ones.
“Through his character, passion and energy, Billy is an invaluable leader not only to Origin Bank but throughout the community in Ouachita Parish,” said Lance Hall, the bank’s chief operating officer and Louisiana state president. “I look forward to the great things Billy and his team will accomplish for our organization.”
Haddad has a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a data processing option from Louisiana Tech University, where he graduated cum laude. He is heavily involved in the community, and was the winner of the Rambin-Silverstein Award for Outstanding Leadership and Service in 2016. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Monroe Chamber of Commerce, where he is vice chair for 2017 and the chairman elect for 2018. A past board member for the United Way, he was the United Way Steamboat Chairman in 2008 and the United Way Campaign Chair for 2013, and was also on the executive committee for the Red Cross. Partnering with Haddad in the oversight of the bank’s Monroe area market is Ouachita Parish commercial lending manager, Joey McGinn. McGinn has over 50 years of banking experience, and began working at Origin in January 2009. His responsibilities with Origin include managing the bank’s Ouachita Parish commercial lenders in the production of loans and deposits.
“Billy and Joey have done a spectacular job in managing our lending, business development, deposit gathering, community partnership and investor relations activities in Ouachita Parish,” said Hall. “Together, they will continue to be management partners in driving the bank’s strategic plan and vision of simplified banking through exceptional delivery with a focus on the customer experience in Ouachita Parish.”
McGinn graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a degree in business administration, and from the Louisiana State University School of Banking. He is community focused, having served on the boards of numerous organizations including the Monroe Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club, the United Way, the Boy Scouts and the Girl Scouts.
