Preston Moore Leads Community Trust Bank Houston Team as Regional President

Community Trust Bank has announced that Preston Moore has joined the bank as Houston Regional President. In this position, Moore will plan, develop and direct financial policies and practices of the Community Trust Bank Houston market, ensuring that financial objectives, goals and institutional growth are met in accordance with the policies of its board of directors and CEO Drake Mills. Moore has been with Community Trust Bank since November 2012.

Moore has served various roles in the banking industry for more than 30 years, and brings a wealth of financial business experience to the bank. Prior to joining Community Trust Bank, Moore worked for Encore Bank as President and Chief Executive Officer. He earned his bachelor’s degree in political science at Washington & Lee University and later went on to earn his MBA in finance at the University of Texas.

Moore is also active within the community, serving on the board of directors for Encore Bancshares and the Houston Country Club, and in various capacities for Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church and The Kinkaid School.
